Freshservice

Let the Coder read your IT tickets, assets, and onboarding and offboarding requests in Freshservice to triage the IT queue. Read only.

Freshservice is an IT service desk: staff raise tickets, and IT tracks laptops, licences, and new joiners in one place. Once you connect it, the Coder can read the open tickets, the assets, and the onboarding and offboarding requests, sort the queue by impact and urgency, and point out tickets a known fix already answers.

Which assistants use it#

It suits a Coder with the IT administrator role.

Freshservice connects through Freshservice's own server, at your service desk's address.

Setup#

  1. In Freshservice, click your profile picture, open Profile settings, and copy your key.
  2. Open Integrations in StellarFirm and pick Freshservice.
  3. Paste the key and your service desk address ending in /mcp, such as https://yourcompany.freshservice.com/mcp.
  4. Switch on the live option and press Connect.

Permissions#

  • The key belongs to your Freshservice agent profile, so the assistant sees the tickets and assets that agent can see.
  • Nothing here waits for an Approve because nothing here changes data. The Coder drafts replies in StellarFirm, and you send them from Freshservice.
  • Reset your key in Freshservice whenever you want to cut access.

Good to know#

  • Use your freshservice.com address. A custom domain does not work for this connection.
  • Each Freshservice plan caps how many of these calls run in a minute and in a year.
